I used to think the same, but recent events have proved otherwise.

To many cowboys out there.

i have not been following them due to time constraints and also because it was not relevant to me at the time. i will try and go through them when i have a chance.

kindly avoid the salafis.. most of the time they make matters worse..

I dont think there is such acute shortage of good amils.. they may scarce.. but they are there Alhamdulillah..

Well, if they don't turn you into a Zombie, they might be able to turn you into a GM ;) (That goes for the dodgy insincere ones)

Wa Alaikum Assalam w.w.

They have no knowledge what they are doing most of the time.. some Ruqya combination here and there and they feel will work for everything.. as discussed earlier.. if one has to rely solely on Ruqya.. then the Raaqi should be a field canon of spirituality.. not a water pistol.. ;-)

If its just a simple case of someone being possessed.. it may offer temporary or even permanent relief at times.. illa Masha Allah.. but if someone has offended a Jinn or has serious sihr and stuff.. then there is need for a real expert who can communicate with the other side and reach a solution..

wa Allahu alam..

True but at the same time a Salafi shaykh will just sit their and read in front of you. They might not be as strong and every time you go for a Ruqya reading on you they'll charge you , but at least it's visible and apparent of what their treatment procedures are.

Whereas other alternatives that are out there, one is hardly aware of their procedures, they say one thing but are usually doing other things. People are desperate for solutions and often in the process they end up spending a lot of money and sadly to no avail.

There's not many decent alternatives out there to be honest and that's the biggest problem. Another why people end up with dodgy characters such as Noor Zaman and co.

ur are right bro.. it looks neater with the salafi ones.. but when i meant making matters worse is when they ( some of them) resort to practices like burning Jinnat.. digging steel nails into walls.. trees. ground..etc..

This takes the problem to the next level and the salafi amils makes the problem worse..

Yes.. we do not have much choices many a times when people like Noor zaman inc. are around..

but Alhamdulillah there are still good Amils around..

Fair enough then akhii and that's true

Might need to get you to recommend some then Amils then for others ...as most are dodgy.

Akhi I wanted to ask you and this question I've had a debate on this with a few friends, is it forbidden to kill the jinn whilst in treatment ?

What about the Amils who imprison the jinn in the body ?

I know of the ones like Hazrat Maulana Abdullah Mughaisi sahab db of Ajrada (U.P India) ( Khalifa of Mufakkir e Islam Hazrat Maulana Syed Abul Hasan Ali sahab Nadwi رحمة الله عليه ) but he is old and keeps ill these days ( May Allah سبحانه وتعالى give him best of health ..Ameen) rest they arent well known.. live in rural areas and out of reach most of the time.. ..

Burning Jinnat is a risky affair.. and indulged by amatuers.. just like us.. they too have family.. friends.. tribes.. and are known to take revenge.. sooner or later..

reaching a peaceful settlement is the preferred choice most of the time.. & the Amil should posses the mettle for this..

By either having a greater force with himself or if the Person is a spiritual giant..

Like once someone was brought in the presence of Hazratji Maulana Inamul Hasan sahab رحمة الله عليه.. they had been to many places and the Jinn wouldnt leave.. finally when they reached Hazratji he spoke..

" If Hazratji gives me the pan he chews.. i shall leave forever.." so Hazratji رحمة الله عليه gave him the pan and the guy left for good.. :-)

I know of 1 person. He told the jinn frankly that he knows he is no big shot but then he mentioned the name of his shaykh and said you know he is a big shot and I would not want to tell him....the jinn left after that. Another time there was this pathan dude who learnt amaliyaat in Saudi. Used to say rubbish stuff like taweez is shirk etc. Anyway once he went to a jinn and told it to leave and the jinn laughed at him. We were young then but some of my young friends would prank this pathan amil at night and tell him that they wanted help etc....He was a nice pathan amil however. Always giving us food.

Shaik,

I would like to say only one thing which many of us have forgot.

Why not give a bigger sadqah i.e, slaughtering a goat and distribute it as sadqah?
