i thought he'd be asleep when i called him. i didnt know he was trying on his eid ghams and prancing about in front of his mirror = He's a true drama queen when it comes to his views on Saudi moonsighting ...

Makkah timetable FIXED 29 DAYS

Astronomical data is very clear that there is no Hilal sighting possible in Saudi Arabia on that day, but as the day of Eid has already been fixed, that is the announcement we will hear. So now the question is: will the Central Moonsighting Committee continue with its anti Shariah stance and lead the masses to miss one obligatory fast and celebrate Eid ul Fitr 2011 on the 30th day of Ramadhan ul Mubarak?
Have we not been instructed by our Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam to celebrate Eid only after the Hilal of Shawwal has been sighted?
Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: "The month (can be) 29 nights (i.e. days), and do not fast till you see the moon, and if the sky is overcast, then complete Sha'ban as thirty days." (Sahih Bukhari)
One needs to be very aware that this timetable was printed well before Ramadhan ul Mubarak. Ask your self these important questions:
1) Can 29 days for Ramadhan be declared in Sha’baan?
2) Can Eid Ul Fitr be declared in Sha’baan?
The answer is clearly NO. Then why are people of UK being made to blind follow a calendar that is doing exactly that?
It is now time for the people to rise up and face the truth. Stop this farce. Stop celebrating Eid ul Fitr in Ramadhan and missing out on that very last fast of this blessed month. Stop spoiling the I’itiqaf of thousands of innocent Muslims by making them miss one whole day.
