I'm looking for some recommendations for Nasheeds to listen to.
Preferably in English, since it's my native language.

PLEASE don't provide links.

Just the Artists Name or Artist Name - Nasheed title. Inshallah will be enough for me to find it.

This thread shouldn't be considered as a place to debate the worthiness or permissibility of music.

I'm not into Nasheeds per say, but I do listen to some on occasions. But that would not be in English as much. More Urdu or Arabic - but even they can contain variations by the same person person, i.e. If i gave you a name of a Nasheed that would be Halal, the same artist will have the same version in Haram :(

Anyways, I can't vouch for these, but inshaAllah, they are Halal :)

I appreciate you don't want links, but at least these keep you on MS!

Thank you, since they're not a direct link to "music" I don't think that *(type of link)* will pose an issue.

I noticed several Zain Bhikah nasheeds in there. I've become a fan of his voice.
It also appears he will often have a version with instruments and then another that is voice only.

If I do listen to English, I would prefer Zain Bhika (Some fools have used his voice to claim Michael Jackson embraced Islam)

There is also Talib Habib (He has used a duff I believe) - My favourite would be The Articles of Faith - I used to have it going in the background when I had my own office desk, now we're all in the same room :(

I've come across that particular nasheed. It's obviously NOT Michael Jackson.
Too many people only believe what they want to believe.

I wish Zain Bhikah could do a "concert tour" in the US. It would certainly present a great image of Islam to the many Americans who just don't understand Islam.
Of course the great shame is that it would most likely only attract Muslims.
Sometimes though, just the fact that there IS a tour, will get people interested enough to at least listen to some of his nasheeds.
