Bismillah.

Forbes magazine had an article a few months ago on a case study of how a healthy plant based diet ,caused one young mans Crohns Disease to go into remission.

www.forbes.com/sites/robertglatter/2019/06/24/cure-crohns...

If you have time I would recommend the following documentary called "Dying To Have Known". Its on youtube... Its a while since I have seen it.. I found it highly interesting.

It is about Dr Max Gerson who was probably way ahead of his time. In the 1930's he theorised that the sudden increase in many chronic illnesses was due to the recent innovation of processed foods. Whilst people traditionally ate a wholesome natural diet..He believed the factory produced food chemical flavourings and preservatives that was becoming dominant was causing Chronic illnesses.

In his clinic in Germany he started treating people with an organic plant based chemical free diet. This led to some amazing recoveries, of chronically ill patients.

After the outbreak of the second world war. He moved to America and continued with his therapy. The Pharmaceautical companies lobbied and had his clinic closed. If people are getting healthy via diet then there is less profit for the Pharmaceauticals.

The following dua’ is given in “Fortress of the Muslim”, to be recited for one who is ill:

Dua for sickness and ill health

Transliteration: ‘As’alullaahal-‘Adheema Rabbal-‘Arshil-‘Adheemi ‘an yashfiyaka.

Meaning: I ask Almighty Allah , Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to make you well. (Recite seven times in Arabic)

Ameen, May Allah give you and your family aafiyah in this life and the next.

I really liked how members on this forum shared articles and content on giving positive hope. I remember that I wrote somewhere in my diary about something which I would like to share.

What I can re-call for now is that deep down in our hearts we have two things which no one can take it away from us except Allah alone. We may have people break our bones or peel our skins, but they will not be able to reach these two things in our heart, unless we let them. The whole world is working towards promoting content and material which is anti-Islam, muslims are facing a downfall in all sectors of life. Those who are opposing Islam are giving their full efforts, but they are still restless because they do not understand that they can not break two things which are deep inside our heart. Shaytan basically wants to snatch away these two things, Shayateen in the forms of human are also making their efforts day and night. And they are:

1 - Faith
and
2 - Hope

We have faith in Akhirah, and hope to attain the Jannah. We are told about the lengthy shades of trees, the houses nearby the river, where there are rivers of honey, milk, wine and water. The servants which are spread like scattered pearls, and houses with countless rooms. Whatever we may desire to eat will be brought in-front of us prepared. And much more.

This life is just a small station, we are waiting for the train to arrive and take us to the final destination. Each moment our hopes should be increasing as we near towards our destination, to where our souls really belong.

All these motivational content which are being shared have connection with the common root: Faith and Hope
