Assalāmu `alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabarakatuh.

Has anyone heard of this narration? Typically, and not surprisingly, I came across this narration from a Tablighi.

There are other authentic narrations that state only if it's nafl salah, may you break it to answer your parent's call otherwise it's not permissible.

Jazak'Allah.

Salaam

The Prophet (saw) was 5 or 6 years old when his mother passed away.

He (saw) received prophethood when he was 40 years old.

Fardh salaat was established on the night of miraj when he (saw) was 52.

If he did, he would've mentioned it as an example of the stature of a mother and not as a Hadith. Please double check.

Brother xs11ax has posted the obvious!

What did he narrate exactly?
Where and when did this bayan take place?
Did you hear it first hand?

If he did, then he's made a mistake.

I believe there are authentic narrations that suggest otherwise.

IF he did, the wording most likely incorrectly attributed to Maulana Tariq Jameel.

I'm not a fan of his. I have questioned many of his stories and found many mistakes, most of which he has either clarified, retracted or corrected. But I feel that what he has said is something about the importance of the position of a mother in Islam. For example, the Prophet (saw) trying to reiterate the status of a mother said.....

W-Salam,

The spellings in this thread give a clear indication of the bias, mindset and poison of the individual and cult he belongs to. Its a dumb question which a 5 year old knows the answer to but hatred and poison knows no bounds.

Assalamu alaikum

Maulana Tariq Jameel has not said anything mentioned in the OP. He only related in his bayan that Rasulullah صلی الله عليه وسلم said: If my mother was alive I would serve her so much that even if I was in Salah and my mother would call me, I would break my prayer and answer my mother. [Ulama have mentioned that it is incorrect to attribute this statement to Rasulullah صلی الله عليه وسلم ~bint e aisha]
