Qazi Fazlullah Jan advocate (D.B)

He is a Maulana(Aalim) and a Qazi and he also has a degree in Law which is why the advocate in his name.He is commonly known as "Qazi Fazlullah advocate". Qazi Fazlullah(D.B) has been living in the United States for over 20 years. Before, when he lived in Pakistan, he also served as a Member of National Assembly from the JUIF party. He still has sympathies with that party but putting his political affiliation aside, I am really impressed with Qazi sahab's Ilmi personality and efforts.

He has written books(on a variety of topics) in English,Urdu and (I think) Arabic languages. Most of his talks are in English and Pashto though. He has a good command over the four mazhabs and has written books on masaail (such as Hajj) where he covers the perspective of all four Imams. Qazi sahab(D.B) regularly gives lectures and classes on Fiqh,Seerah and Tafseer at his Masjid in the United States. You can find his bayans on Hadith and Usool e Hadith as well.
Qazi sahab(D.B) has fully devoted himself to the pursuit and spreading of knowledge.I find his bayans very enlightening because of he is an ocean of knowledge and he has an easy going and humourous style.Very khush mizaaj.
Qazi SahabI(D.B) discusses the philosophical aspect of Deen too which is very interesting.Masha-Allah, he is very intelligent and intellectual.

May Allah Taa'ala grant Qazi sahab(D.B) a long life with aafiyat and grant him Taufeeeq to serve the Deen.Ameen.

Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam has stated that in his opinion if the title Shaykh al-Islam is applicable to anyone today, it is Mufti Taqi Usmani.

The Sahaba who were experts in Hadith and Fiqh were undisputedly the Shaykh al-Islam(s) of this Ummah.

After that it's anyone guess with the exception of the Salaf period.
