The ghairah of this Ummah only surfaces for Sunnahs and ahkam of deen that are convenient enough to follow and don't involve changing our lifestyles. You are absolutely right in bringing this up. Over the past few days many others have also been exposed for their completely deviant aqaid and I hope this serves as a wake up call to us all to not fall into a comfort zone regarding people commenting on our deen, even if it's on a Muslim forum.

Respected Sister

It is better to avoid too many discussion forums and message boards. Often you will find people in these places are not willing to listen to advice, so best advise a person once then leave the person to themselves.

Otherwise it can be frustrating experience and can lead to feelings of despondency.

@bint e aisha:

Few years ago I read articles in 'Tarjuman' it is an official magazine of this group, published by markaz jamiat ahlehadith India, in which Hz Husain ra was proven wrong in his decision and yazid was given respect as sahaba ikram are given by suffixing 'RA' with their name. Something was written in his defence as well.

You can listen lectures of Dr zakir naik about battle of karbala.
www.therevival.co.uk/forum/general/3032

You can read 'Tanweerul aafaq' of ml Raees Ahmad Nadvi to know their real views about sahaba ikram ra.

Indian Army has resorted to heavy shelling along LOC and they're targetting civilians. Many casualties have been reported. This is how they express gratitude.

This is nasibism and it is one thing which makes me emotional and my views do not match with a lot of Deobandis who try to find excuses for Yazid. Let them praise him in this world because on the day of judgement they will have to go to Rasulullah (saw) for shafa'at.

If India and Pakistan go to war, Israeli weapons could be decisive

The Jerusalem post

1 March 2019 08:59

As India and Pakistan contemplate their next moves amid rising tensions, airstrikes and the downing of an Indian warplane, Israeli weapons could play a decisive role in a future war. India has become a key defense partner for Israel in recent years with Israeli technology playing a major role in India’s modernization programs for its large armed forces.

India-Israel trade has been booming in recent years, reaching $6b. in 2012-2013. A variety of major Israeli defense companies have sought a place in the Indian market. These include Israel Aerospace Industries, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Israel Military Industries and Elbit. This legacy of defense purchases has increased in the last decades. In 2003, IMI signed a $20m. deal to supply tank shells to India. New Delhi also purchased Tavor rifles. Total arms sales from 2001 to 2006 were $15b. according to UPI.

By 2017, India represented up to 49% of Israel’s arms export market, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research arms transfer report for 2017. In January 2018, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu traveled to India to reciprocate Narendra Modi’s state visit in July 2017. Defense talks were an important aspect of these trips.

Everything has not gone smoothly as the trade expanded. For example, India canceled a $500m. deal it had signed in 2016 to buy anti-tank missiles. India banned mDefense talks were an important aspect of these trips.

Everything has not gone smoothly as trade expanded. For example, India canceled a $500m. deal it had signed in 2016 to buy anti-tank missiles. India banned many deals with IAI and Rafael between 2006 and 2018. It also banned IMI in 2009, although a report said IMI returned to the Indian market in 2014.

The Indian Air Force struck at terrorists based in Pakistan on February 26 using the Israeli-developed SPICE kit for bombs, according to Indian media. According to Flight Global, the Spice 1000 precision-guided bombs were supplied to India for 36 Dassault Rafales, along with Spice 250 which were to be used for India’s Tejas jets. This was part of a larger evaluation by India of Rafael Advanced Defense systems, including its Python 5, I-Derby ER air to air missiles and Litening 5 targeting pod. India was also exploring Rafael’s BNET secure radio solutions. The value of these deals, according to a 2016 article, was up to $500m. This would have also seen India’s Sukhoi-30 fighters outfitted with 164 Litening pods.

In 2017, a subsequent article at i-HlS notes that a squadron of Tejas were to be integrated with the Rafael I-Derby air-to-air missile as part of a deal with the local Indian DRDO company.

India’s ground forces also have sought Israeli weapons for a variety of upgrades. These include 155mm guns, as well as exploring Israel’s Trophy active protection system. Elbit and Ashok Leyland agreed to a MOU in December 2018 for mounting Elbit’s artillery guns on wheeled vehicles.

Radar is also essential to protecting India from threats. In October 2018, New Delhi signed a deal with IAI’s Elta system for 83 ELM-2052 radars and electronic warfare suites. IAI also signed a $550m. deal in October 2018 to supply India’s army with its Sky Capture command and control anti-aircraft system.

At sea, in 2015 India’s navy conducted a successful interception with IAI’s Barak-8. Jointly developed with DRDO in India, the system includes aa radar, command and control, and launchers for the missiles. In January 2019, IAI announced an additional $93m. in contracts for “provision of Naval MRSAM (Medium Range Surface to air missiles) systems.” These would compliment existing air defense systems. This built on a much larger $777m. deal signed in October 2018 that foresaw seven ships being equipped. The contract was signed with India’s Bharat Electronics Ltd., the main local contractor.

Israel’s Elbit has also signed on to a contract with Adani Defense and Aerospace in India to construct UAV’s locally, including its Hermes 900 and Hermes 450.

Israel also exhibits regularly at defense exhibitions in India. At Chennai in 2018, a full spectrum of Israeli systems were shown, including Elbit technology for jamming systems, loitering munitions, and other weapons. Overall, Israel’s supplies to India represent an array of technology to either fill gaps in India’s defense or to provide state-of-the-art systems for India’s large army. With New Delhi seeking to modernize its armed forces, at a cost of hundreds of billions, Israel is well placed to play a key role.

Sister you can rest assured that our Ulama e Deoband do not find excuses for Yazeed.A large number of our Ulama , both from the past and contemporary , have dealt very strictly with Yazeed in their books and called him names like Yazeed Paleed.
The Ulama who refrain from using such language from Yazeed , such as Mufti Taqi Usmani ( H.A) only do so because they are of the view that Yazeed was not responsible for the murder of Imam Hussain (R.A) in the manner that is usually potrayed , although he did have some role.
Any of these Ulama will tell you that whoever killed Imam Hussain(R.A) is the most worthy of cursing and Lanat , but whether that is Yazeed is something that is not 100% certain.Apparently there are narrations that Yazeed cried upon hearing the news of death of Imam Hussain(R.A).

Yeah everyone is praising Imran Khan's decision to let go of the Wing Commander like this was some ilhaami decision. Like Allah Himself told him to do it. Like it's the modern-day version of Sulah Hudaibya where Muslims have succeeded despite having agreed to extremely harsh conditions.
On the contrary, Imran Khan is no prophet and this decision was not some divine wisdom rather a pure act of cowardice. In today's world an act like this, especially from a Muslim country, is taken to mean that the country has no real power and is a pushover. Jihad involves using hikmat too, and hikmat here wasn't to give the impression to the enemy that we are helpless.

Everywhere people are quoting the Hadith of Prophet (saw) about not desiring war. No one is talking about how Prophet (saw) has also preemptively attacked enemies in order to protect and preserve Muslim interests. When are we going to stop talking about Jihad only in terms of REACTING to the enemies' attacks and start actually using it to establish the dominion of Allah?

I appreciate your sentiments...

But I think as a prime minister he may be more aware of ground realities than we are...

Look,it is not a war between two ‘equal’ countries.India is seven times bigger,it has got more than double the number of tanks, aircrafts and soldiers. Its economy is much better than Pakistan and on top of that, international establishment is against ‘every’ Islamic country including Pakistan.

I can assure you that in case of an all out war, there will be no more a country called India on the surface of earth, there may be ruins of it. There will be no Pakistan either to celebrate its victory. No amount of American or Israeli support will be able to save India from such a catastrophic end,and no amount of Chinese help will be able to save Pakistan.

Pakistan is successfully defending itself and is keeping India at a safe distance, that should be considered enough.Sahaba don’t live in Pakistan,it is an ordinary country and has to play it according to the rules of the game.It will never surrender but it is not in a position to push for war either.

Yes,too much of talking peace is bad, they are over doing it :)

But think over it,Pakistan is doing two things simultaneously, talking peace but acting like war. This was the only possible strategy.

I invite you to consider Pakistan,s position at the moment:

•Alhamdolillah Pakistan is militarily strong enough to “defend” itself,it never had aggressive designs,so Indian numerical superiority may not matter. An invading army needs roughly three times more soldiers and hardware than a defending army

•Economically Pakistan is weak but can survive a war.

•It is Pakistan,s real or perceived image of involvement in cross border and international terrorism which is our weak spot. This image has been carefully crafted by hostile agencies and media by a continuous and sophisticated propaganda. That is why Pakistan has to push forward with its soft image. The enemy takes advantage of it and we are put on a defensive position from day one, consuming most of our energies on diplomatic efforts to wash the blame, convey a soft image of the country, offer concessions, trying to prove to the world we are ‘good boys’ :)

This is part of war strategy.Wars today are fought on multiple fronts including posturing for peace while preparing for war.

This is what I hate. No matter how much he cried, he didn't bring the killers to justice and that closes the matter for me. I like Ulama e Deoband like this: archive.org/stream/YazeedKiShakhsiyatAhleSunnatKiNazarMei...
