More troubling than his takeover of the Markaz is the DESIRE of Maulana Saad for Amarat. That has never been the case with our akabireen. We all know very well that desires are only defeated by stifling them not by satisfying them. Satisfying them leads to more desire. If the ulema were to relent now and grant him his throne, is it a realistic expectation that he will stop with his deviancy right there? Today it is just the Amarat of a small jamaat, tomorrow he could want to be Khalifa. He has at his disposal those who are deluded enough to act on his orders. So unless the root of this evil goes away I don't think any efforts of pacifying him will lead to anything fruitful.

Agreed....

But the ground reality is,that there is a split, even at the grass root level, that the names attached to the family background of Molvi Saad sahib are much too powerful, that the name and fame of ancestors do count in the culture of subcontinent and that Nizamuddin is still the spiritual centre of Tabligh....

We may not like many things present in today's world, but they remain despite our disliking.Israel still occupies Palestine,Afghanistan is still bleeding,Kashmir is still on fire, trump is still the president....and Molvi Saad is still the Amir of his own faction.

Molvi Saad is not the person who will give up or give in,I believe if he has got any one quality coming from his ancestors, that is his determination and the trait of digging in...

He will not leave Amarat,or so I think :(

Some of the Akabireen who have signed this declaration are guilty of building a dynasty themselves like the “Gandhis” or the “Bhuttos”. Shaykh XYZ (RA) was passed away, he was the nephew of Shaykhul-Hadeeth XYZ (son of his Sister) and taught at ABC.

When you dissect the issue Shaykh XYZ is no different to thousands of Muslims who serve the Deen but Shaykhul-Hadeeth XYZ uses his position to request Duas etc and laymen in great numbers popularise this.

Maulana Saad has ZERO claim to Tableeghi Jamaat except LINEAGE, he was NEVER involved in the work, NEVER part of Shura, NEVER actively propagated or promoted Tableegh…His only claim is LINEAGE

Akabireen will NOT call it out because some of them are guilty of promoting their families and relatives in the exact same way.

The declaration clearly agrees to Maulana Saad (HA) keeping what he USURPED just based on gangsterism. He never deserved it, he was not interested, he forcibly took over, he ejected  deserving people and NOW he will get to keep his spoils which he unfairly acquired.

Sounds familiar to you? Yes it’s the case of endorsing two state solution and giving Israel what it has acquired! You know why it sounds familiar? Because it is the official Saudi Government position and our “Akabireen” are learning politics from Saudi Arabia and UAE and the principle is called “Might is Right!”

I fully understand that not many here will DARE to call this out for being wrong. The rights of others are being usurped right before our eyes.

P.S: Shame on people for standing by and endorsing tyranny and injustice! Allah Ta’ala’s Arsh shakes when you take the side of the oppressor!

Maulana Saad has no reason to give up his Amaarat now. He has Nizamuddin Markaz under his control. He's about 60 and has I.A. another 30 years to live. His son molvi Yusuf is about 30 and already doing bayans in Nizamuddin and ijtemas so he will naturally take over after his father. The kursi is not going anywhere for another 50 years.

That letter is effectively saying accept maulana saad as ameer and everyone else work under his shura. Basically stay silent and let the status quo continue which is something our organisations are expert in.

Very true.
Here is the link to his statements from his bayaan in 2018..(after the so called ruju..) that have raised concerns from ulemas
https://wifaqululama.com/videos-ویڈیو

This will continue as long as we common Ppl continue to support him and his ideology and the occupied place.

Can someone really provide an English version of this for the masses?

Nice try at "Hazrat Worship" but let me put it to you in a way your brain can comprehend.

We not only think but also believe that:

  1. Darul-uloom Deoband
  2. Darul-uloom Mazahirul-uloom
  3. Senior Ulama of India
  4. General Ulama of India

Know MORE about this then the Ulama of Pakistan including Hazrat (Mufti) Taqi Usmani Saheb (HA) and Hazrat (Mufti) Rafi Usmani Saheb (HA) who are in a different country and don't know the full extent of the situation.

Previously, other Pakistani Ulama also tried to get into it, before that it was "Mufti Azam" of America...

The reality is that the situation is broken beyond repair.

Obviously, Allah swt can change the situation if he wills, but the way the split has happened and trickled down to the masses, even if the elders reconcile their differences and come back together each side will still have feelings and animosity in their hearts for the other side.

This started as a split at the top but its effects have come all the way to the bottom where people who don't even know the ABCs of the issue are ready to beat one another with sticks and stones to strengthen their position.

How sad!

Wa alaykum as salam:

The jist is -- because there is a split in the tablighi jamat, darul needs to maintain neutrality, and hence no teacher or student is allowed to participate in the effort with either group until the dispute is resolved.

What were the circumstances which resulted in establishing Darul uloom deoband (waqf)...?
