السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

I believe a time will come when we will have to leave our homes to safeguard our iman and the iman of future generations. Already western society is opposed to the ideals of Islam and Islam is being branded as something that either needs to be eliminated or needs to step in line with modern society. By modern society I mean a society that is against fitrah. This ideology which is blatantly opposing Allah is all around us and even in our homes. We don't see it because we have accepted it as the norm. We see blatantly pornographic images plastered on billboards in the streets or flashed across our screens in the form of adverts, but its all normal. Children's minds are being polluted and moulded to see homosexual relationships as the norm and to see homophobia as backwards and wrong. Muslim men and women see nothing wrong with attending work Christmas parties where drunken men and women act out their lewd fantasies. Even our deen has been diluted so that men and women mix in 'Islamic' concerts and are so deluded that they believe they have done something good. Maybe we have already reached a stage where we should be running away from this fitnah, but we have become so entrenched into the fitnah and become a part of the fitnah that we don't even realise.

We forget that our grandparents/parents came to the west with no money and no knowledge of the language and culture, but were able to settle and build a life in a foreign country. But we the offspring who claim to have faith in Allah are scared to do the same for the sake of our iman. We will make excuses right up to the appearance of dajjal and even then we will make excuses.

Hijrat is definitely hard and will have a huge impact on our security and comfort. But staying in a society that is totally opposed to our way of life has a huge impact on our iman and deen. So it all depends on what we truly love and value more. I have been saying this for the last 10+ years and I am still saying this sat in the comfort of the west. So I am the biggest culprit in all of this.

Hijrat is a two fold effort and always has been. Sacrifices will need to be made by both sides. The ones leaving their homes and the ones receiving into their homes. The hosts have a deeni responsibility to welcome the immigrants and to help and assist them in any way they can through material means and by providing security. If there are people willing to migrate then there should be people willing to help them. This will be a test on their iman. This is something our ulama and leaders need to address.

it must be either he is claiming to be a mujjaddid and lure people in till he has a hazrat worshipping status then pronounce his nabuwat and divinity.

As I said before, he will know to say and show the right things at the right time to each person.

i dont know still seems unclear to me. i aint no saint or aalim but never have and inshAllah never will i ever listen or accept whar a kaafir has to say about islam.

There is a hadith which warns us that a person will think that he is a momin and confront dajjal and then will develop doubts and fall for his tricks.

So don't be that confident about yourself. Whenever we know that he has arrived, we should run like hell.

The strategy of Satan is not to hit the final blow at the start. His strategy is to systematically introduce a person to sin. First he gives dawah to the person to leave bigger reward for smaller one. Then he preaches to do smaller sin and then gradually leads to bigger sin.

Since Dajjal is the seed of shaitan (or related to him), he will also present himself in such a way that without a high level of iman and baseerah, one could not even recognize that he is dajjal.

As a side note "Dajjal" like "Mahdi" is not a name but a title. Who knows, what his real name would be. That makes things somewhat trickier.

May Allah protect us from all fitnas and especially the fitnah of Dajjal.

For the fitnah of Dajjal, this is the wisest piece of advice. Fleeing to prevent yourself from being engulfed in his influence is the one thing that will save us.

Very true! However, I repeat a statement very often in my routine.
Koi kisey da baily nai sirf Allah baily aye. Koi maan pyo nai, koi saathi nai.sirf Allah baily aye.

No one is anyone's friend. Only Allah is the true friend. Not even parents. No relatives, no companions. Only Allah is the true friend.

Whenever I expected from people, I got disappointed. Whenever I looked towards Allah and trusted him, MY DEAR ALLAH never disappointed me even for once. His love is immense and immeasurable. Strategy, preparation, asbaab, everything is fine and according to shariah. However, if we are waiting for an invitation card from our expected hosts then my friend I am not hopeful that that will ever happen. However, if after preparation to the best of our capabilities and effort, we take the initiative which eventually we have to take THEN I AM 1000% sure that Allah The Friend will help us by means of a good host or even without it. What I mean is that if we ask for gurrantees, then sir nothing will happen. We have to take some risks in order to activate the josh of Allah's mercy and his help. If I have learned anything from tabligh and my life in general then I have surely learned this.

We have to ask the ulema that what was the tarteeb of ashaab e kahaf's preparation, departure and arrival in the light of classical tafasir and ahadith.

1. Did they have any guarantee of success?
2. Did anyone assist them?
3. What dangers they encountered during their journey?
4. What lessons we can learn from their actions and the events which took place in that time?

This is mentioned in the Quran that they did take provisions and necessaries with them. So tawakal in Allah's help doesn't mean to leave the asbaab altogether but it's a matter of yaqeen and focus which brings barakah in our material resources and increases their quality and impact.

On a practical level, we must consider this that if we are in the position of hosting someone, will we host a stranger just because he claims to be a momin without knowing his/her background? So we have to put ourselves in the shoes of our hosts.

I think that honest and reliable relatives and friends can be good hosts if they are of high iman equally. How can strangers host our stay. Giving food and tea for 3 days is another thing but accommodating someone along with his family for several years until the devil dies by Syyedina Isa's hand is a totally different thing. We are not living in the times of Sahaba RA and the Prophet SAWS is not among us. Even then the hosts of Madina were hearing glad tidings about the arrival of last prophet by the Jews and
when they got the call, they immediately responded because their mind was already made up through the Jewish media of that time(Strange, how things work in this world). Now the pious and knowledgeable hosts may accommodate or will surely accommodate Imam Mahdi and his army if they ask them for assistance. However, not knowing anything about brother xs11ax how can they accommodate him not knowing even his real name? If we are in the position of hosts, will we accommodate any tom, dick or harry just because he claims to be a momin and wants to avoid the fitnah of dajjal and is waiting for Imam Mahdi?

What is the criteria of trust? Maybe, the person who is claiming to be a momin can be a terrorist, criminal or a spy. How can we or anybody else trust complete strangers? So there has to be a third party which could accommodate us in such a risky and huge endeavor.

Here an incident comes to my mind. Once a jamaat went to Russia for Tablighi safar. There a russian family reverted to Islam Ma Sha Allah due to their effort. After the jamat's return and some time past that, that russian family came to Pakistan (Raiwind) to spend 4 months in Allah's cause. However, they had a six year old son with them. They asked from the elders of tabligh that are children allowed. The elders after consulting with each other gave their final decision that children are absolutely not allowed. That russian new Muslim (I admire the level of reverts' iman, ikhlas and sacrifice) called the amir of that jamaat who was a pakhtun(love these guys from the core of my heart) living in some village in KPK. The Amir sahab told him that your son is my son (love pakthuns muah!). Bring him here and we will accommodate him. The family left for KPK, went to that village left their child there, came back and spent four months in tabligh(what a family and what hosts they got. They showed sincerity and sacrifice and after doing the deed Allah also didn't break their hope and gave them the ideal host. Love Allah!). After returning from the tabligh trip, they went back to the village and saw their son fatter and healthier than he previously was and was eating meal with the pakhtun kids at the time they arrived in Amir Sahab's home. They brought their son to Raiwind, admitted him to the Raiwind Madrassah and went back to Russia themselves. Their son after years of work and sacrifice became an alim or mufti and then went back to Russia to serve their deen.

Conclusion

Despite of our differences with Tablighi Jamaat and it's faults and weaknesses, it is my intuition that the answer to our host problem at least is tablighi jamaat. Now we have to find the right brothers and the right place and for that we need to go for long tabligh trips. Atleast two months each year with longer tashkeels.

You make a very good point. Maybe there can be a middle ground alternative? Instead of private individuals taking on the burden, maybe an institution can be set up that would take on this task? It might be just a pipe dream but who knows?

One thing is for sure. Doing hijrat without ansar is fraught with difficulties and danger in today's climate. I know some people who tried it quite a few years ago. They ended up on death row waiting to be hanged. They barely managed to escape with their lives.

If there is an obligation to do hijrat then there is an obligation to help the muhajir, whether its through individuals or through an institution.

Might be good with erdogan around, but if the seculars take over then could be problematic.

Which area in turkey?

True. Its quite different from Urdu and Arabic so won't be so easy to pick up. I picked up farsi quite easily as its so close to Urdu. Picked up enough Arabic as well while in jamaat in Europe. But Turkish seems difficult.

Except for those ruling over us, I consider Pakistan to be the best place to be a practical Muslim.

Turkey is good too and if the karguzari from jamaats are to be believed the people over there are more in favor conservative Islamic rule rather than a secular one, so I think whether Erdogan is there or not, it might be another good option to settle down.

I have been turkey twice. Istanbul and antalya. I am not sold yet but I appreciate that they had to live through 80 years of secular rule so will take time to change. But rural areas could be completely different from tourist areas.

i know people who have settled in istanbul and fathiye. erodgans victory in the last elections was a big factor in them moving as its given him greater power to push his reforms. im hopeful being the good leader that he is that he has set the path for those after him to follow his way. if zaalims can path ways for their successors to be zaalims too im sure good leaders can do same.

as for language barriers i do believe this is just shaytan whispering to put you off. apart from the british nearly any immigrant whos ever moved countries has learn the local lingo in due course. if our parents or their parents managed to learn english when all they knew was urdu/punjabi etc im sure english/urdu speakers will find turkish easy. plus just watch ertugrul and abdulhamid to pick up the lingo my kardash :)

The hadith of Constantinople being conquered again by Imam Mahdi and his army unsettles me about the near future of Turkey. Also, how can Europe tolerate an Islam inclined state in it's very heart, given the anti Muslim climate already at the rise.

As far as Pakistan is concerned, only KPK seems fit to me because if Imam Mahdi's arrival is really near then Ghazwat ul Hind according to ahadith is also near.

1. Naimutllah Shah's prophecies
2. Even if we deny them then ground realities prove it that Pakhtuns never tolerated foreign rulers even in the past and never will they ever in the future too. They have weapons, ammunition and the will to resist and fight. They respect ulema and much of their society has successfully resisted secularism and foreign elements. Especially their rural areas. Respecting ulema means preserving the traditional Islam and as long as traditional Islam survives kuffar can't completely take over the world.
