Salaam,

Any thoughts about this interpretation of the hadith, about the clock tower in makkah being one of the fulfilled signs?

"When you see Mecca, its mountain with holes (pierced through them), and its buildings reach its mountain tops, then as-Sa’ah (the Hour) has already cast its shadow."

فإذا رأيت مكة قد بعجت كظائم ورأيت البناء يعلو رءوس الجبال فاعلم أن الأمر قد أظلكo

So when you see in Makkah that channels have already been dug (or tunnels built), and you see the buildings surpass the tops of the mountains, then know that the command (of the Hour) has already cast its shadow over you.

[Narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah in Al-Musannaf, Hadiyth-124]

"The Clock Tower is also called Burj as-Sa’ah, one of the meanings of as-Sa’ah is the Clock. The Clock Tower actually casts its shadow over the Kaba. So, in a literal fulfilment of the prophecy, as-Sa’ah (the Clock) has already cast its shadow (over the Kaba)."

Is it possible, to interpret the hadith in this way to refer it to the clock tower? The tunnels through makkah and high rise building are generally accepted fulfilled signs by ulama, but the clock tower is interesting take i've not come across before.

مصنف ابن أبي شيبة – 38387.
وهو لا يصح؛
لأن مداره على: يعلى بن عطاء العامري، عن أبيه عطاء العامري الليثي، ويُقال الطائفي؛
وعطاء: مجهول.
قال الحافظ ابن حجر رحمه الله تعالى:
قال أبو الحسن بن القطان عنه:
مجهول الحال. ما روى عنه غير ابنه يعلى. اهـ.
تهذيب التهذيب 7/196.
ومثله في بيان الوهم والإيهام في كتاب الأحكام 5/664.
وقال الحافظ الذهبي لارحمه الله تعالى:
لا يعرف إلا بابنه. اهـ.
ميزان الاعتدال 3/78.
وقال الحافظ ابن حجر رحمه الله تعالى:
مقبول. اهـ.
تقريب التهذيب 1/680.
قلت (القائل عبد القادر مطهر):
ومعنى مقبول عند ابن حجر: أنه مقبولٌ إذا تُوْبِعَ، وإلا فَلَيِّنٌ.

I do not think it is long before the major signs begin, the demonic zionists and their plethora of fraternities actively prepare for the coming of a 'messiah'. As Muslims we know the only Messiah was Isa (as), therefore they prepare for dajjal.
