Quote:
What is separating him from the rest is that he is not as big of a “beghairat” as compared to diesel, nawaz, zardari, asfandyar wali, achakzai, and these all others.

Soon after coming to power he literally went on a "begging tour" around the world. How much ghairat is there in that?

I myself never expected any miracles from him regarding the corrupt state of our country because I knew he was never the solution to our problems. The least I expected was for him to stand up to the tyranny of certain institutions. To at least try to relinquish their control over the affairs of the country. Instead he has chosen to play along with them. That is the failure that I hold him to.

Yes, with the treasury empty, country on the brink of collapse AND $27 billion in Debt (which he inherited) you wanted him to make speeches, right?

Results in 14 months:

  1. Trade deficit fell from $11.7 billion recorded from July-October of FY18-19 to $7.8 billion during the same period this year, 33.5% drop
  2. 6% Exports Increase, 17% Imports Decrease in Oct
  3. Pakistan has jumped 28 places in the ranking of ease of doing business, latest World Bank report reveals
  4. High Education Department and Lampro Mellon Limited Pakistan has asked for 100,000 Pakistani Engineers
  5. Japan has signed MOU for 340,000 Pakistani skilled workers
  6. Pakistan Earns Over $61.850 Million From Export Of Transport Services
  7. Pakistan jumped 28 places in ease of doing business
  8. $1.2 billion waived by Karkey

What IK should have done?

Should have sang Deobandi songs like this one:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8fjWAoEyDw

P.S: Ignorance, bias and hatred have no cure!

So you're telling me that for all his education, all his claims and showmanship, this is the best he had to show for it? This was his GOLDEN idea? To beg for more loans so that we can pay off the earlier loans. Kudos to him for it. We should all be thanking him.

At least the Deobandi song would have been better than the travesty that his campaign had running all over Pakistan. At least it would also have been without music.

I am glad I can agree on this at least. Your hatred for and bias against Deobandees is on full display. Judging by your attempts to drag a reference to them in every discussion whether the discussion warrants it or not.

Direct Comparison:

2002 Elections:

  1. MMA: 63 seats in Pakistani National Assembly, 48 in KPK, 14 in Balochistan and 13 in Sindh
  2. PTI: 1 seat in Pakistani National Assembly

2008 Elections:

  1. MMA: 14 seats in Pakistani National Assembly, 10 in KPK, and 10 in Balochistan
  2. PTI: Boycotted Musharraf and did not participate

Parvaiz Musharaf:

  1. Helped America attack Afghanistan, killed/imprisoned thousands in Pakistan for having beards
  2. Raided Jamia Hafsa
  3. Maulana Fazlur-Rahman: Joined hands with Benazir to support Musharaf
  4. Imran Khan: Boycotted Musharraf and did not participate in elections

2013 Elections:

  1. MMA: Disintegrated!
  2. JUIF: 15 seats in Pakistani National Assembly, 14 in KPK, and 6 in Balochistan
  3. PTI: 27 seats in Pakistani National Assembly and 34 in KPK

2018 Elections:

  1. MMA: Disintegrated!
  2. JUIF: 0 seats in Pakistani National Assembly, 18 in KPK, and 11 in Balochistan
  3. PTI: 112 seats in Pakistani National Assembly and 65 in KPK

Questions:

  1. What are the achievements of Maulana Fazlur-Rahman (HA) as head of Kashmir committee for the past 10 years?
  2. What are the achievements of Ulama in National & Provincial Assemblies since 2002? When they were in majority did they modify the education system?
  3. Maulana Fazlur-Rahman (HA) has been part of Government in Baluchistan since 1988 until 2018, what steps were taken in Balochistan to progress towards Qur'aan and Sunnah?
  4. Maulana Fazlur-Rahman (HA) owned KPK from 2002-2005 with absolute majority and no opposition, what did he achieve in KPK in those years and WHY did the Pushtuns threw him our entirely and have been humiliating him ever since? what steps were taken in KPK to progress towards Qur'aan and Sunnah?
  5. Maulana Fazlur-Rahman (HA): On what basis and on what grounds did he support a butcher like Musharraf? He even admitted it in his rally 2 days ago that he supported democracy. Imran Khan on the other end boycotted Musharraf and opposed war on Terror and for it BBC called him "Taliban Khan"

Excellent move and fantastic initiative. If you can dispel the rhetoric for 5 minutes you will realize that

  1. Sikhs have protected Kashmirees in India and Internationally. They is continuous support for Kashmir in India and outside by Sikhs
  2. Sikhs border Pakistan in large numbers so in the eventuality of a war, Pakistan Army will need to do operations behind enemy lines in areas inhabited by Sikhs
  3. BJP Government swept through large parts of India and the wave was stopped in Punjab & Tamil Nadu in the South

It costs us next to nothing to do so but in terms of dividends, it is massive. There is intrinsically wrong with it Islamically, either.

But one cannot make the "Deobandees" see this at all! In the past it was Ulama who had good relationships with Sikhs in Punjab for generations, read history of Muslims/Islam in India.

Supporting Maulana and criticising IK are two different things and should not be mixed together. Very few here, or may be no one, is supporting Maulana.

Deoband has nothing to do with it, many very acknowledged deobandis like Mufti Taqi Usmani DB and Mufti Rafi Usmani DB are mostly silent over the issue, same is the case with many others who does not endorse involvement in politics for scholars and students. Tablighi jamat is traditionally anti-politics.

Why then, is deoband dragged into it ? Maulana is a political figure and we can see staunch leftists, liberals, seculars and nationalists flanking him on the stage....

It is ‘pure’ politics and should be viewed as such. So far he is playing his cards very well !

Sir! I strongly disagree with you.

When Zulifqar Ali Bhutto being a feudal lord himself can bring socialism in this country then why can't he know the problems of a common man while living like an elite himself?

It seems that some people seek an opportunity to criticize ulema rightly or wrongly. When there is no other thing to say then they use the weapon of accusing others of having sectarian bias and blah blah blah. Reminds me of a Phd in Islamic studies from Punjab University belonging to Jamat e Islami. Also reminds me of that mad engineer.

The question is not that what a person with a nominal position in some useless committee in the past did? That is in the past.

The question is that what this Oxford Graduate genius sitting in the PM's chair doing currently? Where are the overseas Pakistanis who he claimed will help him? Don't they trust their hero?

PMs must be compared with PMs and not someone with nominal position with no real actual powers.

He is indeed a man of honour. So why he went to IMF? Who will pay the interest for loans taken by him? Why didn't he ask overseas Pakistanis for help as he was claiming in his campaign? Doesn't he have any confidence in them and himself? Why there are so many u turns?

"Deobandi" Logic: Part 1

  • 03NOV2019: Why did Maulana support Parvaiz Musharraf and admitted it?

Quote:
Deobandi Logic: That's in the past, leave it

But Musharraf was married to a Qadiyani

Quote:
Deobandi Logic: I just said its in the past, leave it

But Musharraf ordered the raid on Jamia Hafsa which killed innocent children

Quote:
Deobandi Logic: Are you stupid? I just said its in the past so leave it

Quote:
Deobandi Logic: No! Why did Imran Khan run to get loans in December 2018, tell me that!

Exhibit of Deobandi'ism on National TV:

Abdul-Ghafoor Haideri:

  1. Deobandi Maulana
  2. Graduate of Deobandi Darul-uloom
  3. General Secretary of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) which is a "Deobandi" organisation

04NOV2019: Openly cursing and using bad language on TV. Presenter repeatedly asking "Maulana" not to curse and use bad language!
