Assalamu Alaykum,

I wanted to share some new religious experiences during my recent trip to Malaysia, where I saw some strange stuff and also met with some hindus who were magicians. However, before telling about that, I would like to share my flight experience.

The flight (both ways actually) was extremely turbulent. It got to a point where we thought the plane would fall in the sea. I have been a frequent flyer all my life, but this experience really scared me and my friends. In addition to that, the violent air space of Malaysia and Indonesia, and the disappearance of MH-370 and the crash of another Air Asia plane, most of the people on the airport and during the flight were discussing the abrupt weather and how most of the people were not comfortable flying.

For a short period, we also got stuck in a thunderstorm. And then even in clear skies, the plane faced severe turbulence. Since most of you people are from the UK and Europe, where there is snowfall and windy weather, I would like to hear from you too.

Any of you have had a similar experience?

W-Salam,

A Brother became Muslim due to turbulence. He said that on the flight everybody was happy and enjoying until Turbulence started.

At this point, everybody who were unaware of God, started praying (in many different ways) to be saved.

After Turbulence, they went back to listening to Music or whatever.

This made him think about God.

So he thought this “God” stuff is incorrect because people use it as comfort. He then decided to read religious books and pick out inconsistencies.

He read the bible and there were many things he found which were inconsistent.

He read the Bhagavad Gita and also found many inconsistencies.

Read some other book as well and found inconsistencies.

He didn’t bother with the Qur’aan at all.

Some years later someone gifted him a Qur’aan.

He read the first page and came across the verse “This is the Book in which there is no doubt!” He thought, “What an arrogant claim from a book!” so he took the challenge of finding things wrong with the this "arrogant Book" to defeat the claim.

He couldn’t.

So he told his Nafs that if you cannot find anything wrong with this Book and if you still don’t believe in it, then you are stubborn and arrogant because your challenge has been defeated.

So he accepted Islam.

JazakAllahu khayra for the response.

MashaAllah, may Allah (SWT) keep the brother steadfast on deen, ameen.

The flight experience was bad, because it was my 3rd consistent air travel that went very very bad. I then read about Aviation and what are prime reasons for plane crashes, etc. May Allah bless us all with aafiat, ameen.

Well the academy has almost started. InshaAllah it should bring a refreshing change amongst the deobandis. My main aim is to answer the secularists and liberalists and their queries. I also intend to defend the maslak of Ulema e Deoband, with an academic effort for showing the true aqaaid and path of Ahl e Sunnah Wal Jamaah. Also, short courses for youth and ladies etc, for Arabic and quranic tafseer, etc.

The channel for the academy is also active on YouTube, but I won't be naming it due to anonymity.

Duas requested.
