Washington Post Report about Lynchings of Muslims in India

Quote:
It’s been a summer of rage in India. Dozens have been killed by lynch mobs, and extremist Hindus continue to assault and kill others, many of them Muslims.

Congress Involvement in 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots

This report was resurrected to counter Rahul Gandhi's recent assertion that Congress was not involved in anti-Sikh riots of 1984.

After the chilling 1984 riots post killing of Indira Gandhi by his Sikh body guards the Sikh community became very silent.

Muslim World and India

Once upon a time the Marathas created chaos all over India. There were in Delhi - far away from their own place in central India. They were there in the far east of India.

Then there was Hazrat Shah Waliullah RA of Delhi.

He wrote to Ahmed Shah Abdali, the Afghan ruler in Kabul about the trouble created by the Marathas.

Abdali came and there was the Third Battle of Panipat. The Marathas were routed.

Today RSS has created excessive problems not only for the Muslims but for anybody who does not share their distorted vision for India.

The least the Muslim World can do is to start talking about problems of Muslims living in India.

My impression is that ultimately these have to be the Muslims of India itself who have to get up and take a serious note of their own issues and solve them but Muslim World talking about these problems is sure to send an effective signal to the enemies and deflate their high air.

Muradabad, August 13, 1980

The riots happened during the chief ministership of the Congress leader V. P. Singh. The Union Minister Yogendra Makwana blamed the violence on the RSS, Jan Sangh and BJP. The Prime Minister Indira Gandhi suggested that "foreign forces" (referring to Pakistan) and "communal parties" were behind the violence. The Times of India editor Girilal Jain blamed the "anti-social elements" among the Muslims were partly responsible for the violence, and criticized the Muslim leaders for not admitting to the facts and instead blaming the RSS. He also gave credence to Indira Gandhi's "foreign hand" theory, and published an article listing the number of Pakistani visitors to Uttar Pradesh. The BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani blamed the Muslim organizations for the violence.[8] The government appointed Justice Saxena of the Allahabad High Court to investigate the riots. The Justice Saxena report, submitted in May 1983, indicted Muslim leaders and V. P. Singh for the violence.

By the infinite Grace of Allah SWT Dr Pravin Togadia is effectively out of the scene. He tried to compete with the incumbent Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi to capture the majority community votes using the issue of construction of the Ram Temple at the site of the now martyred Babri Masjid. Then there must have been some internal mechanisms and lo and behold we find Dr Togadia running away from Rajasthan Police. Rajasthan is a northern Indian state very near to Delhi. The ensuing drama exposed a very cowardice side of the VHP leader, Dr Togadia, and he is not taken seriously anymore. Before that his speeches were unparalleled in hatred for Muslims.

Here he is replying to a speech, not moderate by any stretch of imagination, by Akbaruddin Owaisi.

Woh bhi munh mein zuban rakhte hain, kash poochho ki mudda'a kya hai?

There is still Ahmed Shah Abdali living in Afghanistan under a different name but we need another Shah Wali Ullah RH for activating him.

Relax ya akhi.

I can tell you the whole game now. Islam is under attack globally. because of their faith Muslims are under attack globally. The situation is so critical that even if you protest then it will be taken as an offense.

In late eighties of the last century there a case of racial violence by the police against an individual in the US. The was the infamous Rodney King case. There was a video recording of the event. Do you know what was proved in the court? It was proved in the court that Rodney kings actions were threatening to the security of policemen on duty.

And what was this threatening posture? Well while lying on the road he extended his hand to diffuse the blow of the baton! I am not exaggerating.

So basically while worrying about the problems of the Ummah we have to be very circumspect otherwise we might end up in those troubles that we neither intend nor plan.

After taking all precautions we still might end up in trouble. Like Dr Zakir Naik. The trick is to learn from such experiences and take additional precautions.

After that we can do all the work we want to do for the Ummah. And if we still face problems then it is indeed a blessing from Allah SWT. Even drinking water involves risk.

I hope this gives an idea about my approach to the problems of the Ummah.

In that case, sufi way is the best way Don't say, don't move and just remain in perpetual muraqbah forever. Isolationist approach is the best approach because history of Anbiya AS , Sahaba RA and Elders is telling us that if you tell the truth, you get in trouble.
