Thousands of Good deeds There are thousands of good deeds. If someone is not engaged in the same good deeds as yours, it does not mean that they have no good deeds.

I didn't listen or pay much attention. Is he saying what is permissible according to the law in his country? We work with Homosexuals and interact with them all the time, not sure what our options are?
In 2013 he was due to do a speaking tour of British Universities. The British press got hold of his statements condemning Homosexuality from 2011 and ran a campaign against him calling him and extremist he then quickly issued an apology.
The two most powerful lobbies in the western media and politics are the Zionist lobby and the Homosexual lobby.
Having said that if a person of knowledge does not have the confidence to explain why these things are considered wrong In Islam. What hope is there for the regular muslims.
Seriously he cant even explain why shaking hands is wrong. The rules of modesty. Or the fact that even in European countries and America just a few decades ago men and women did not shake hands.
Yes I wasn't happy with explanation of shaking hands. Perhaps he was saying who knows, if they meet when the woman is old he would shake her hands. But he was banned from a large number of countries due to the controversy which the interviewer was addressing, and he was looking to get a revsesal of the ban.
The vast majority of Ulemah only work on a community level and effectively live in their own protective bubble, as firstly their mistakes are not exposed/amplified on an international scale and secondly don't have to deal with controversial subjects as they predominantly only deal with subject matters relating to the muslims community.
Even a lay person with no recognised religious education knows that homosexuality is wrong, but how to we deal with it in an islamical context, without being penalised by western laws or being convincted for inciting hate speech.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
