Just as we all make a CV to show our achievements we should write down/contemplate the achievements we have made for our akhirah. Then read it and think "would this be a successful applicant to jannah?". It is safe to say that no-one will have an affirmative answer but will surely see that they have much more improvement to make.
Disclaimer:
1. No-one knows who is going to jannah.
2.Do not show your good deeds to anyone. You'll be left with a wiped slate. (If we even have one in the first place)
