Islam is our religion, a complete way of life,
It teaches us mercy, while staying away from strife,
We are all Muslims; we believe in only One God,
Islam is the true religion, of peace, 'tis no fraud,
We try to learn about Islam, every day and night,
As doing so enlightens us, and it is Allah's right -
That we worship Him (Allah) the way that pleases Him,
Obeying Him while staying away from every evil and sin.
Seeking Islamic knowledge is a duty upon us all,
Strengthening our Imaan so no ignorance befalls.
Thus, everyday you can find us reading the Qur'an,
Or watching Islamic programs, or reading about Islam,
Or attending Islamic lectures that speak about Islam.
The teachings in Islam are what we try to understand.
When learning about Islam, we do so for Allah only,
Not for the sake of arguments, not for fame nor folly.
Seeking knowledge of Islam is neither "cheap" nor "silly";
'Tis a guiding light that renders the way to Heaven easy,
And brings us closer to Allah, the All-Knowing, Most Strong,
While causing us to know what is right and what is wrong.
