We Chose To Be Humans!

posted by abu mohammed on 19th December 2016 - 1 comment
We have been taught that Allah created the Angels who can only do as ordered. They cannot sin, they can not cohabit, they can not disobey, they do not have desires and so on. They will not be held responsible for their actions.

Spending on Ashura

posted by abu mohammed on 10th October 2016 - 0 comments

There are several legitimate practices in Islam that have been wrongfully deemed as incorrect. In an era of religious melt-down, we cannot afford such incorrect assertions One such practice is: Spending on one’s family on the day of ‘Ashura (The 10th of Muharram)

Rasulullah (sallallahu ’alayhi wasallam) is reported to have said:

“Whoever expands his expenditure on his family on the day of ‘Aashura, Allah Ta’alawill inflate his sustenance for the rest of that year”

Marriage Allowance in the UK (TAX)

posted by abu mohammed on 23rd August 2016 - 0 comments

For all my brothers and sisters living and working in the UK

https://www.gov.uk/marriage-allowance/how-it-works

This inshaAllah can benefit many, especially for families where the bread winner is the spouse with an income of less than £43K

Doesn't take long to sign up to it and you might as well do it as its just our earnings coming back to us, similar to child benefit money or Tax refund.

You will need yours and your partners NI number, Partners Passport details and DOB.

Knock Knock, It's Me!

posted by abu mohammed on 5th July 2016 - 0 comments

This is something new to me and so I'm sharing with others because we all do it as a joke and out of normality/seriousness.

If someone is seeking permission and is asked who he is, he should introduce himself with his known name or his nickname. It is not enough to say: "It's me!" Imams Bukhari and Muslim reported that Jabir رضي الله عنه came to the Prophet (saw) and knocked on his door. The Prophet replied, "Who is it?", Jabir رضي الله عنه replied, "It's me!". The Prophet (saw) hated that and said, "It's me, It's me", meaning that he hated this useless response.

Allah, the Most High, the Most Great has spoken the truth. And His noble Messenger has spoken the truth. And we are witnesses to that. O our Lord, accept from us for verily you are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

O Allah, grant us with every harf (letter) of the Quran halawah (sweetness) and with every Juz (part) of the Quran jazaa (reward).

O Allah, grant us with (the recitation of every) alif ulfah (love),
and with baa barakah (blessing),
and with taa tawbah (repentance),

The multiple benefits of 10 ayats from Surah Baqarah

In an era like ours, in which we’ve become immune to insecurity, the following prescription from one of the most knowledgeable Sahabah (radiyallahu’anhum) is very pertinent.

Lets read through the following narrations and be inspired.

SubhanAllah, I just realized one thing and never thought about it before and probably just speculating.

Hazrat Maryam عليه السلام is in severe pain and then she is told "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream"

Surah Maryam, Verse 23:
