| The Evil Eye
This is an email I composed last year. My daughter was not eating at school or at home, so I looked into this RUQYA for the Evil Eye. Alhumdulillah, I prayed it over my daughter (age 4) and the very next morning, she woke up very happy and said that she went to Makkah and prayed Salah there and made Dua for the whole Family. She then started eating properly. (We had recently got back from Umrah so it was fresh in her mind). AlHamdulillah, it was great to see the effects of Dua so soon.
I hope this is use to every one. InshaAllah.
The Evil Eye (Buri Nazar) is Real. There are many Hadith regarding it. I have put together only 2 Hadith for our benefit and for our family.
Ruqya (protective and healing supplications)
Ruqyah is one of the greatest remedies that the believer should use regularly.
Jibreel used to do ruqyah for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and say,
بسم الله أرقيك من كل شيء يؤذيك، ومن شر كل نفس أو عين حاسد الله يشفيك. باسم الله أرقيك
Bismillaahi arqeeka min kulli shay’in yu’dheeka, min sharri kulli nafsin aw ‘aynin haasid Allaahu yashfeek, bismillaahi arqeek
(In the name of Allaah I perform ruqyah for you, from everything that is harming you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye may Allaah heal you, in the name of Allaah I perform ruqyah for you).
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to seek refuge for al-Hasan and al-Husayn and say:
أعوذ بكلمات الله التامه من كل شيطان و هامه ومن كل عين لامه
It was narrated that Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to seek refuge for al-Hasan and al-Husayn, and he would say, ‘Your father [ meaning Ibrahim peace be upon him] used to seek refuge with Allah for Isma`il and Ishaq with these words: A`udhu bi kalimat Allah al-tammah min kulli shaytanin wa hammah wa min kulli `aynin lammah (Al-Bukhari).”
(I seek refuge for you both in the perfect words of Allaah, from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every evil eye).
