Qadha Salah - Qaza Namaz

Qadha Salah or Qaza Namaz, How many do we pray, How Many have we missed.

Take a breif look at the Islamic Calender below, in RED are marked out Most Holy days according to the average Muslim. We are not Average! Are we really Muslim or do we just pray because somebody is watching us and not because it is our Duty.

If this chart was changed to become Breakfast - Lunch - Tea - Dinner - Midnite Snack. How many boxes would get ticked?

By the way, not all Muslim Men pray Jummah either.

The sin of missing a Salaah intentionaly is extremly great. According to Hadeeth such a person even though he pays the Salaah back later will remain in Jahannam for a period of 1 Huqb which is equal to 70 years of this world. Imagine the punishment for one who completly neglects it. Salaah will also be the first things to be reconded for on the day of
Qiyaamat.

Missing Salaah but performing it later is very bad but not as bad as missing it completly. Insha Allah by paying our missed Salaah back and making taubah to Allah through his mercy He will forgive us.

May Allah help us and protect us.

There shouldnt be any thing to discuss, but for those who have, please take a look here.

Jazakallah shaykh saab.

Ibn Mas`ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I asked the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam): "Which act is the best?'' He (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "As-Salat at their fixed times.'' I asked, "What next?'' He (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "Being dutiful to parents.'' I asked, "What next?'' He (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "Striving (Jihad) in the way of Allah.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "Between a man and disbelief and paganism is the abandonment of Salat (prayer).''
[Muslim]

He who will be having the quality of Islam and will be particular in performing Salat regularly, will raise a wall between himself and Kufr. He who does not perform Salat after coming to the fold of Islam, does not have a frontier which separates him from infidelity. Leaving Salat is like demolishing the wall that separates Islam from Kufr. Thus, we learn from this Hadith that leaving Salat is Kufr.

Some `Ulama' are of the opinion that this injunction is for one who believes leaving Salat is permissible whereas the one who leaves it because of slackness is not Kafir. Some scholars, however, think that if such a person does not repent, he is liable to Hadd, i.e., death punishment. There are other `Ulama' who think that rather than death punishment such a person should be subjected to corporal punishment till he starts offering Salat. This Hadith makes the importance of Salat in Islam abundantly clear.

Buraidah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "That which differentiates us from the disbelievers and hypocrites is our performance of Salat. He who abandons it, becomes a disbeliever.''
[At-Tirmidhi]

Shaqiq bin `Abdullah reported: The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) did not consider the abandonment of any action as disbelief except neglecting Salat.
[At-Tirmidhi].

Jazakallah, Please note, I am not a Shaykh, Imam, Mufti, Scholar or Teacher. I am a lay person who is trying to stay on the straight path by aquiring knowledge and trying my hardest to act upon it.

A Mufti once told me "little knowledge is dangerous, as it will take you to Hell". So the more you know, the more you can keep away from Hell.
