why prayer is important to muslims?

[color=#FF0000][color=#FF0080][/color] Prayer is important to muslims because it was a gift from Allah (God) which Allah gave to our most beloved prophet of them all Prophet Muhammed (SAW). And there is also a hadith (saying of the prophet)which also explains why we also read namaaz (prayer). The hadith is "If a person had a stream outside his door and he bathed in it five times a day, do you think he would have any filth left on him?"
The people said, "No filth would remain on him whatsoever."
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ then said, "That is like the five daily prayers: Allah wipes away the sins by them." So there is another reson why because it wipes away our bad sins. And finally we read namaaz because it is our key to paradise. [/color]
