Changing Negative Thoughts Into Positivity

How To Change Negativity By Using Appreciation and Gratitude
When we begin to understand the importance of our thoughts and just how destructive and creative they can be in our lives, we begin a lifelong journey of thought examination.

What is the nature of the seeds being planted and what kind of fruit will this plant deliver when it attracts to itself what is like itself.
All you have to do to understand the nature of the seeds which have been sown, is to look at what you are experiencing in your life.

Good seed - wonderful, joyous experiences
Poor seed - pain, disappointment, anger, conflict


When you get tired of all the drama in your life, you begin to look for different answers. Controlling the monkey talk in your head is certainly one of the most important things you can begin to do.

"How do I stop my negative thoughts?" - is a question that I hear you ask. You will feel such enormous relief in knowing the answer, because it is so simple. How do you stop negative thoughts? You plant good thought-seed!

What You Sow Is What You Reap - Choose Your Focus

When you try to stop negative regard of things, you are focusing on what you don't want - negative concepts - and you will attract an abundance of them. They can never disappear if you are focused on them. The "stop" part is irrelevant - the negative views are your focus.

It doesn't matter if you are trying to stop negative thoughts or control them or push them away, the result is the same. Your focus is on negativity, and by the law of attraction you are inviting more of them to you. Especially if your focus on the negative thought goes hand-in-hand with strong feelings and also some self-depreciation (like calling yourself some awful names) to go with it. You are loading the dice for much more of the same!

The Truth Is Easy
The truth is always simple and it is always easy.
To stop negative thoughts, just plant good thoughts! Deliberately think a more positive thing.

1. APPRECIATION
You plant good awarenesses by making it a daily practice to appreciate all the things in your day.
Appreciate your health, your car, your home, your family, your job, your friends, your surroundings, your meals, your pets, and the magnificent beauty of the day.
Compliment, praise, and give thanks to all things. Every time you say "Thank you" it is a good thought! As you plant more and more good thoughts, the negative views will become less and less. Why? Because your focus is on regarding things with a good and positive eye, and what you focus on you attract.

2. GRATITUDE
You may also want to begin a focus on gratitude. Buy yourself a nice looking Gratitude Journal. Select something which gives you pleasure when you look at it. Then, if you feel like it, it would also be great to decorate it. Just make it so that every time you pick it up, it pleases you.
Now begin a nightly ritual of Gratitude. When you get into bed, think about your day and write down 5 things for which you were grateful during that day. It does not have to be big things. It can be experiences like receiving a lovely e-mail from a friend, or having a nice slice of cake at coffee time. It can be a lovely relaxing bath, a smile from a stranger, a green robot when you were in a hurry to get somewhere.

If you have difficulty finding 5 things, then begin with 3 items of gratitude every evening. Just create the habit of writing them down before you go to sleep.
This does wonders for having a good night's rest because it creates a positive mindset to fall asleep to.

New Focus For The Day
It also does another very important thing. Because you now know that you have to write something in your Gratitude Journal tonight, you begin to look for things to be grateful for in your day. You are creating a gorgeous new focus which feels good and will attract more of the same to you.

As you deliberately begin to pay attention to small things in your life, look - on purpose, for something nice to say to people.
What is lovely about the cashier at the supermarket? What would cheer the receptionist up? How can you compliment your work mates? Look for the little things. They become the big things in the Law of Attraction. Your whole energy changes! Your new thinking energy then changes your life experiences!
So don't give any attention to negative thoughts. Don't worry about them. If any come, make light of them, shrug them off, and let them be your reminder to deliberately think more along positive lines now.

When you realise that it is now which counts, you will change your focus immediately. It is in this very instant of "now" that the seed for anything and everything else is planted. What you are busy thinking right now, will certainly be the harvest of experiences somewhere in the tomorrows of your life.

That is why you can look at what is going on in your life right now and know that you yourself planted the seeds for those very experiences. The total responsibility is yours!
